Hello. My name is Nicole Farnsworth. My career as a screenwriter was perfect for almost twenty years, until one day when everything came to a crashing halt.
The writer's strike in 2008 ruined everything, including my health. The stress drove me to drink. Now I'm a recovering alcoholic on a mission.
I found paperwork in my mother's belongings that suggested I was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan instead of Kansas. Also, my father was never named on the birth certificate. How odd is that? Very. That is a mystery I intend to solve.
Now I'm leaving Hollywood for a quiet life in Northern Michigan with my daughters Kelsey and Serena. What awaits I cannot say.
The ghosts of my deceased husband and mother aren't sure either. Yes, that's right. I speak to them and so do the girls.
